After John Stewart left the show I stopped watching.
Yes. In fairness, John Stewart would have been a hard act for anyone to follow. Even if the writers are the same (and I don't know the answer to that) John Stewart just had such masterful comedic delivery, he made the material funny (usually! )
Trevor Noah didn't have any of that going for him, all he brought was that air of woke preachiness that says "I'm not even fun to be around at a party".
Yeah. My 46 inch flat screen is much better than squinting at my phone screen.
I don't watch Trevor though.
Maybe he meant network Tv?
I almost never watch the big networks with all of the streaming options. Sure you could subscribe to Peacock or whatever, but the trend for network tv is in a huge decline.
I never watched the show with Stewart or Noah but would see clips here and there online. Stewart was funny, had good energy and charisma, just an overall good fit. Noah seemed to be lacking all that.
Ok, so. My dad was born in Mexico, but became a citizen here, and even served for 20 years in the military, is he an American?
Unless Im wrong and Trevor didn't applay for citizenship.
Either way, it's good for a non-American to call out America because sometimes people don't see their own flaws.
whether you want to call it a US Citizen or an American citizen, if this is the only country in which they have citizenship, they are unequivocally American.
The liberal rag Variety trying to make it look like a graceful departure. His ratings sucked and he wasn't funny. Nearly every show was just sophomoric Trump bashing, and poorly written at that. Maybe these shows should stop hiring Gen Z writers who still live with their parents.
