Dual citizenship is a huge advantage as long as both countries involved are respectable nations worth living in (as is true in this case). Your children may want to live in Mexico one day. They may want to do business there or they may want to buy a vacation home there. I can think of many reasons why someone would want to be a dual citizen of two nations. In short having dual citizenship gives a person advantages and options most of us do not have.
