My brother just reminded me of Crown Rockin' Lounge. There were a couple different ones, but the one in North Miami: you were either drinking & getting laid or drinking & fighting, but the place was a blast!

Never saw more brick phone than at Monty's in Coconut Grove on Sunday night. Best place to close out a weekend of partying!

It was a giant club with bigger and better everything. G Willlikers in Pompano Beach was small but was packed after 2am(closed at 4am)....waiting for your car was often the best part of night and the best time to meet girls.
Another club I would that didn't close until 5am was Lakeside on Glades RD. It was actually in a Holiday Inn but had a cool Boca crowd. My rankings for Fort Lauderdale '85 to '90 would be:
1. Backstreets
2. G Willikers
3. Pizazz
4. Confettis
5. Lakeside
You seem to be a North Broward person and might be able to help me. Do you know the name of the club in Pompano. I believe it was on Federal Highway, South of Hillsboro Blvd. Very classy place with great music.
Thanks!

Thought you might find this of interest if you haven't seen it already. (It's from the beginning of the year.)
