Snowing here between Lansing and Flint at a decent clip. We went from a forcast of 3-5" this morning, then to 6-10"....now down to 1-4" so nothing exciting here. Basically just gonna make a muddy mess.

Hard to tell because of drifting, but we seem to have about 2" so far, 20 miles southwest of Lansing. Snowing pretty hard right now.

Congrats to the folks who got the snow.

Normally I'd be pissed, but it's only November 29th.

I am pissed
Here we should, and normally do have snow now. Like I said earlier, in all the years I've lived in MI this is the slowest start to winter I can remember. It's not even close to normal low temps at night. I just hope the prediction is correct, a late but hard winter.

At least we're in good company.

Much of southern Ontario & Quebec, and also Ohio/Pennsylvania through Much of Illinios and SE Wisconsin hasn't seen a decent snowfall yet either.

But it's more likely than not coming for everyone between now and Christmas.

And if all else fails, you guys up north do at least have lake effect to fall back on.

True, and with the temps staying warm, the lakes are doing the same, hence, more late winter lake effect.

We have about 2-3 inches right now... and it's still coming hard and fast. I wouldn't be surprised at all to wake up to half of a foot or more if it continues at this pace. (I'm about 20minutes southeast of Lansing.)

Nephler: I'm sure we down here will be WAY jealous of you in a few weeks!!
