One thing is certain in life and that is change.

Michigan along with the rest of the Midwest will not be down in the doldrums forever.

You can't just look at the statistics for one period of time you really should be digging deeper.

Wherever you land I wish you the best of luck, I am sure things will work out for you.

And relevant to this discussion. Do you think things are that much better now? Looking at the census numbers and housing values I'd say things are still in the toilet. I'd also agree with the article that Michigan becomes a poorer and more uneducated state every day. The above quotation is a shining example of that. And here is a more recent article, citing the exact same kind of crap as the other one I posted:

Study shows Michigan trails only Colorado in ‘brain drain’ of educated people | Central Michigan Life

The issues haven't gone away. If anything, many have them have intensified.
Alright EastBound, you're done. Thanks for playing. Please move along little doggie.

Yet you spend so much time here on the forum. Are you really sure you will be happy to "rid" yourself from us?

I hope you are not like a pig in $hit when you get to your new location. Pigs are actually clean animals when given the chance, and HATE being in $hit. I really hope you take to your new location like a duck takes to water if you want to keep the analogies from the farm.

No early 20 something living off of Mom and Dad deserves this much ink.
