I haven't been to downtown GR since we left the area 4 yrs ago. Very interesting to see all the changes in the relatively short period of time!

Returning to the initial Photos.... really nice photography!
Ive been to many of those places!.. camped in alot of state parks!
Despite its economy, Michigan is a beautiful state!

I was in Grand Rapids a couple of weeks ago and its starting to approach the demarcation point of a "big city", from the symbolism of downtown, if nothing else. The most impressive view that I witnessed was entering the Central Business District from Grandville Avenue beginning at Wealthy ST. Someone should take that picture and post it because it encompasses the 5 tallest buildings in the skyline and has a character of New and well preserved old that creates a positive impression.

Grand Rapids is poised to become a NATIONAL mecca in the next 15 - 20 years.....

I actually work on Grandville right in that area. I'll see if I can get a shot at lunch today.
