Royal Marines are also mountain and Arctic warfare specialists, and many experienced Royal Marines pass further training in relation to the Mountain leaders course or become parachute trained and they also spend a lot of training time in the Jungles of Brunei and Belize, as well as conducting cold weather training in Norway and the Arctic region. They also form a major component of the Special Forces Support Group and are the main recruitment source for the Special Boat Service.
