Young males are too weak to climb the stairs to get out of their mom's basements. So, grandpas have to step up.

We have offered accelerated citizenship to immigrants that enlist for many decades. I served with non-citizen US Servicemembers during my Active Duty career.

When each of our sons completed US Army Basic training, at the graduation ceremonies a separate part of the ceremony was to welcome the immigrants in their battalion.

Dear God, when haven't the usual suspects been wringing their hands over the notion that men aren't 'man enough' anymore?

And they always - always - think this tired old song and dance is something new, a heretofore unknown crisis.

Not quoting all the images above. Clearly the term apples and oranges applies. The images were from some other thread and bent to try applying to this thread in military forum.

This is what happens when you silo current news into the alternative media. Not to mention young men and women being stereotyped and demeaned. There’s no doubt that today’s younger generation would step up and defend their country in a time of national emergency and display the kind of courage and patriotism that their parents and grandparents did years ago.

Really?

Let's see how many children of the current members of Congress are willing to fight for it on the front lines.

You must be using sarcasm here.

You’re changing the subject now and limiting your argument to children of people in congress. Mike Pence had a son in the Marine Corps and Biden in the Army. Sure there are many more. I live in a military town and see many young people in the military principally young men and women just graduating Marine Corps boot camp.

That phrase you use “feminized west” is it also directed to the thousands of young women in the military? They’re as tough and capable as any man. We have two young women living in our neighborhood who are Navy pilots.

And more specifically the young male service people here enlisted and officers who live in my neighborhood. Tough as nails and subject to long deployments. How about those young Marines killed in Afghanistan, mostly in their 20’s helping refugees leave the country and killed in a terrorist attack. We’re they feminized? 13 of them men and women died doing their duty.

Pretty sure Dom DeLuise called them "Sissy-Marys" in Blazing Saddles...

How about the current President of the US running away FIVE [ 5 ] times when called to serve. But he had more important things to do.
That ment FIVE young men had to take his place ...he has been a disgrace since he was 20 yo.

Biden said he had asthma despite playing college football. Carrying a rifle in the Mekong Valley is much easier than sprinting along the sideline at University of Delaware.

It’s good to be a rich democrat said Biden.
