Was definitely luck to get a KO with one punch but its a fact that Aldo isnt in his prime and he wouldnt have been champ for so long if it wasnt for PED's.

Khabib vs Conor is official for October 6th with the next man up likely the winner of Poirier vs Nate Diaz. Khabib needs to work on his strike defence, or he is gonna get slept.

I'm so hyped for this fight. Poirier v. Diaz will be great too. Will be interesting to see what they do with Ferg now.

He might be the best wrestler the UFC has ever seen though. In that respect, I think Khabib is a difficult matchup stylistically for Conor. I'd probably give the edge to Khabib, but I can't wait to find out what happens.

No question. My main doubt is that he has a tendency to leave his chin open when on his feet and if he does that against McGregor he will be out cold before he can score a takedown.

If this fight does go to the ground, McGregor is going to have to show skills far beyond anything he has shown in the past to have a prayer.

Khabib should bring Lomachenko in to give him some boxing tips. That being said, I think McGregor has a genuine fear of Khabib the dude is an animal.

An article I read today made a lot of sense. It suggested that McGregor wanted a shorter notice fight, assuming that the weight cut will be much harder on Khabib and leave him exhausted by the time the fight rolls around. I think McGregor's takedown defense is underrated, but I also think he realizes that he is in a world of trouble if he can't keep the fight on the feet.

I agree with you, if he keeps it on the feet he wins if it goes to ground its Khabib. This is a HUGE fight after two years of doing cocaine and no fights lol. I wish he'd have done a warm up fight but that wouldnt bring the money in.

One way or another I think this is a fight that ends in the first two rounds. Either Conor knocks Khabib out or Khabib grounds and pounds him to oblivion.

That press conference was.... interesting.

I think Conor is actually nervous.
