afternoon.

Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 60 mph will persist for
most of today. Expect gusts to begin to taper down this afternoon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

...HIGH WIND WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST TUESDAY...

THE HIGH WIND WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST TUESDAY.

EXPECT WIDESPREAD SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 TO 45 MPH...WITH GUSTS
AROUND 65 MPH...TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING.

WINDS GUSTING TO 58 MPH HAVE BEEN RECORDED AT EAST GLACIER PARK
AROUND 6 PM THIS EVENING.

ADDITIONALLY...SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE ALSO EXPECTED IN THE
MOUNTAINS DURING THIS TIME. THE STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE AREAS OF

Right now at the time of this posting here in Conrad we have cloudy sky, a little breezy and we didn't get any snow from the recent system passing through. There is no snow in sight except up there in them Mountains. We'll get ours soon enough, I say "Bring it on" !

this hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central
montana...north central montana and southwest montana.

.day one...today and tonight

the probability for widespread hazardous weather today and tonight
is low.

.days two through seven...sunday through friday

a change in the weather will occur early next week...as winter
like conditions move back into the region. Ahead of this change
strong gusty winds will be possible monday afternoon through
tuesday morning. On tuesday morning minor accumulations of light
snow is expected over much of the area. After this system moves
through the region...a period of below normal temperatures is
expected to last into the latter portions of the week.
