Hooray for Virginia O'Brien! She is so great! She developed a very successful schtick that landed her parts in a number of movies, including one as just-a-girl in "The Harvey Girls" with Judy Garland. I tried to give a rep, but it wouldn't let me. I also tried for "Jurassic Park", another Weird Al song I didn't know about! So, thumbs up for both of those!
Now, what can I add?
I suppose these might fit into "comedy"; they're about nostalgia and are funny:

Thanks for trying to rep.Glad you enjoyed it.I especially like Do You Remember These? I remember fender skirts on cars. They lasted until about the mid 80s on some GM cars.I miss that look.
Before I go any more off topic-good choices!
"Hullujussi" (Mad-John) was band from "Bulvania" (In fact from Finland) at early 70ths.
Only citizens of Bulvania can undestand the language and lyrics of their songs
Spinal Tap is a great choice! I was thinking of posting the Stonehenge number, but I do very much like the Flower People number. Michael McKean and friends do on-target parodies, whether Spinal Tap or Lenny & Squiggy.
As for "Do You Remember These?": I do believe I remember practically all of those! I long ago passed the half-century mark. What I don't know from the Fifties, I learned about from my parents and grandparents, covering the 20th century and more. My father loved Westerns, so I easily recognized everyone in the Randolph Scott song. I'm glad I decided to post them. I hoped others would find them as much fun as I do.
I was watching Muddy Waters and The Rolling Stones in Chicago in 1981. It made me remember this hilarious skit from "In Living Color".

It won't let you rep someone if you repped them recently or some such. I tried to rep you yesterday and it did the "spread around before" deal.
That's it: We need more reps! I DO spread them around! I find a lot of 'likes", but I never have enough rep points to give out! It's hard to remember which I've clicked on, so I get a lot of those messages. *sigh*
Sooo... What can I come up with? How about a news junkie song?
That song was ultra-popular when I was in my teens: They're Coming To Take Me Away Ha Haa!! by Napoleon XIV~Series! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WmbbFD_XhQ
I didn't know there were sequels! Be sure to read the comments!
