"Say It With Love"--and it is a great tune!--is another example of how much great material there was from the late 50's to the early 70's by great groups that never made the charts-hence most people never heard of this tune.
The Exciters put out several lp's--their first lp--"Tell Him" (UAL-3264)-came out from United Artists Records and right when the British Invasion was gathering a head of steam. That lp at the music hobby trade shows today generally goes for $100 and up--seriously. They released other lp's from Roulette, RCA, and the Today labels. Sadly, no other songs charted on the top 10 and maybe not even top 50 in the States. Those lp's are just as sought after by not only American Girl Group collectors but the British collectors as well. And Japan collectors!
Fortunately record labels out of the UK have kept most of their catalog alive and well on compact disc. The availability of THIS song, however? Not sure, will have to do some serious digging.
