Congrats on finding a house, and welcome to TN. Houses are so crazy expensive now.

Just as an update….The house we offered in in Fairvue Plantation went back on the market a few weeks after they rejected ours. To be fair I utilized comps of what actually was sold or pending, not what was listed super high (same agent had house next to them for sale as well and already reduced 300k), so my offer was market value based on day one. Anyways, they have now went well under what I offered them less than two months ago, makes me feel slightly better about my decision and sticking to my financial intuition.

For what it’s worth we are glad we stayed in Williamson County, schools have been super, very convenient location while quiet but just 15 minutes to most anywhere we want to go.
