Kane is quite good, it in in an industrial park and has a fair amount of seating. Carton, Magnify and Brix are all worth a visit.

Icarus in Lakewood is to notch, they have a nice room with vinyl playing and a foodctruck outside. Great suds especially if you like hoppy pale ales and stouts.

Toms River Brewery specializes in less hoppy british isles stuff. Its ok, formerly Ruin Duin(?).

Backward Flag Brewery in Forked River combines good suds with a patriotic flavor.

Pinelands Brewery in Little Egg Harbor, like many, in an industrial park is worth a visit.

Only been there once and had one beer but Heavy Reel in Seaside Heights seems decent.

Conclave in Flemington was real good on my one visit.

Somehow, I forgot about another Central NJ craft brewer, but a ride though downtown Somerville this afternoon refreshed my memory:

Twin Elephant in Chatham is great. Haven't been to Kane yet but absolutely love their IPAs.

I'd like to use this thread to plug the Milk Street Distillery in Branchville (Sussex County).

I enjoyed drinks made with their Kanpeki Rice Vodka. Good stuff.

They have their own brands of bourbon, rye and other distilled spirits.

They also have a small bar, just bring in something to snack on.

A nice little place to stop when you're out leaf peeping in Sussex County.
