I know that Denville has a well known Chinese restaurant, but is there an actual Chinese speaking/support community in or around Denville?
I'm considering moving to the area from abroad and my wife's english is not the best, so it would be helpful to have a community she could latch on to. Thanks.
I live near Denville, I'm unaware of a Chinese community around the area. Some Chinese restaurants will have a van for employee transportation for the workers, where they come from? Not sure.

Eh, hard to say. I think your best shot in that area would be Parsippany-Troy Hills.
I don't believe there are Chinese in Parsippany. There is a Korean grocery store, a few Korean BBQ places and Vietnamese restaurant by the Home Depot in Parsippany though.
Especially mentioning and singling out that particular restaurant in Denville. My troll-dar just goes way off. There's probably not a more Americanized chinese restaurant outside of PF Changs and Panda Express in the whole state...

Admittedly, I made the suggestion based off of knowing a Chinese childhood friend of my father lives there and having lived in Morris Plains and Denville for 9 months and my limited interactions with other people in the area. Nonetheless, I found this on Wikipedia.
"As of 2010, 17.4% of the township's population self-identified as being Indian American, making them the largest minority group in the township; 6.6% of residents identified as being Chinese-American, which is the highest of any Morris County municipality."
There's times and places that I can close and reopen my eyes and pretend I'm in an Asian country in Edison.
Morris County is wealthier and doesn't attract the same kinds of Asians.
Edison is no slouch when it comes to COL either, but presents more housing options for Asians and South Asians than MoCo...
I don't think it is correct to consider Edison to be "near Denville." That said, why single out Denville as the place to be specifically because of a Chinese restaurant? That does not make sense. But I think in North/Central Jersey, Edison would lead the way, and if not Edison, I do think you would choose either Parsippany-Troy Hills or Downtown Jersey City.
