NJ is one huge fief. The state does not have the jurisdiction or authority to place migrants anywhere. Each township have their own police force that does not report to the state and will kicked them away. Mayor Adams is powerless because Albany wield unlimited power over NYC. All of the budgets and resources must go through Albany before it reaches NYC. NYC's own taxes aren't enough to run the city.

NYC is down $700 million dollars in less than a year since migrants were bused in - that burn rate will eventually catch up to increase every homeowners property taxes.

The Center for Immigration Studies says the bill for care and housing "migrants" who have entered the US since 2021 could cost $451 billion. Medical care, housing, education, and welfare benefits. And in NYC they are even doing free laundry for these people.

The question is why? Who benefits from this massive influx of unvetted foreign nationals? What is the endgame?

I heard they are closing a high school in Madison and making the kids go remote so illegals can stay in the gym. Not sure if it’s true though. It was on Twitter (X)

So the New Yorkers who pay taxes to fund the high school are told stay home so illegals can sleep in the high school? American citizens and rightful beneficiaries to education are displaced.

To the poster who says who benefits? - its the democrats, once demographics change and documents are given everyone who crossed illegally will be voting democrat for years to come. The problem is the unsustainable effect on debt and increase in every day taxes will eventually catch up to decrease benefits and quality of life for ALL.

Looks like undocumented "migrants" may be coming to Hunterdon County, NJ.

A plan is under consideration to "process" migrants at a closed psychiatric hospital located in Glen Gardner Borough and Lebanon Township.

Story here. And here.

The local rumor mill says the site is already under renovation in preparation for arriving migrants.

Nothing has been mentioned about the final destination of the migrants.

If it works like it does in NY state, the local authorities here in NJ will have no power to detain any migrant who leaves the processing center and just disappears into the local community. They will be free and in the wind.
