Crowds at Bandalier surprisingly small, Jemez lots of bikers out and about, and Jemez Springs was jam packed with people. Might try Las Vegas and Pecos this weekend, though Cloudcroft area has been posting some pretty shots. Didn't do 4th of July Campground this year because I figured it'd be slammed.

I was in Santa Fe yesterday and drove a short ways up Hyde Park Road into some colorful areas as far as the Chamisa trailhead. Also the view from the old Fort Marcy Park over downtown and to the southeast was pretty colorful, mostly yellows mixed with green.

I drove up through Jemez and Valles Caldera yesterday (10/17). It was a beautiful day for it and lots of folks were out. The cottonwoods aren’t yet fully golden — the most vibrant ones were those at/on San Ildefonso Pueblo. I really didn’t see much other color.
