I am a tenant living in NYCHA, - how can i get a transfer to another development - that is about 3 miles in distance from where I live now. I have bulling neighbors, and doctor notes stressing that one of my children and I should be transfered immediately due to medical health reasons associated with this apartment. I don't want to be transfer to another borough or kept in my same development.(to avoid confrontation with neighbor) The location that I would like to move to will be conducive for me and my children. dose anyone know NYCHA guidline on medical, or any other transfer I could appliy for.
Go to your management office and request a medical transfer. From there you'll be given a transfer request form to fill out and they'll take it from there. On the form, you can fill in the development you want.
im not head of house hold but me and my child are both on the least, how do i go about getting help to move to another development, because i have people constantly threatening me, sending threat text messages and calling adiminstration for children services on me weekly
Do I have to request a letter of transfer as NYCHA requested I do, or do I wait for them to tell me I have to move? Further more, when I move, do I have to leave the development or building that I am currently living in?
im so in need of a transfer . i have a two bedroom apt were i feel like the rooms are small. im a single mother of three. two girls and one boy .theres always something in my apt that needs to be fixed and it takes them months to come see what repairs need to be fixed . and another month or two to acually fix it. i live with spiders and roches. there everywhere in my house .no matter how much i clean it there everywhere i often feel my apt depresses me. im seeking counceling to help me deal with my stresses. i would love to move to another development.
