Jihmi Kennedy, born and raised in Winston-Salem, was a graduate (1975) of Parkland Sr High and starred in "Glory" as the stuttering private. He just recently returned to acting after teaching at Reynolds High School for the past 10 years.

Rodney Rogers...Durham, N.C....played 3 years for Wake Forest and was ACC Player of the Year his junior year as well as All American 2nd team...selected by the Denver Nuggets 11th overall, he also played for the Clippers, Suns, Celtics, and Sixers...chosen the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 1999-2000.
