Right fine post if you ask me and even if you don't

There are some smaller bungalow type homes that come up for rent every blue moon, but yeah just not too many apartments in that area. And you are right, the homes that do come up for rent are usually $1,500+ a month. I guess you can just keep an eye on craigslist or zillow just in case.

I'm curious as to why the OP wants to live out that way. The commute to her job is not a bad one from some of the inner NW side neighborhoods that would fit her personality better.

Agreed. If she insists on having liberal surroundings, I would recommend she stay south of 63rd or better yet south of 50th. Nichols Hills is a very "old money" area and its also pretty conservative.

Never really thought of surroundings being liberal or conservative. Interesting notion.

Even if you live in the Paseo you're still a quick easy drive to the Classen Curve area. If you're working on Western, and live in pretty much any area we've mentioned you will still be driving right by there everyday anyway.

Those are really old ideas about 23rd Street. There is not street prostitution and it's actually quite safe, getting better every day.

True. It's real easy in OKC if you live in the suburbs to be in a bubble and have no clue about the revitalization going on in the core.

And, if she's got a lick of sense, that truck she buys will be a FORD 4x4!

Oh, and......Welcome to the NDN Nations/South-Central/Southern Plains young lady!!!

Would be interesting if she ended up on a Pioneer Woman episode.

Not that it would be particularly unusual I guess
