I think you are talking about Crown Heights.

There are a lot of neighborhoods in OKC that are say 30 to 40 years old where the landscaping has developed and the trees are mature but it's still the plains in west side OKC.

There is plenty of rental property available across OKC and the communities surrounding it. The same as far as residential properties for sale. Both new construction and previously owned.

It depends on personal preferences and budget.

My suggestion is moving in with friends/family for an agreed upon period of time, extended stay, short term rental and exploring options. Do very diligent research. Know what you really need, want and can afford. You may find it in an unexpected area of town.
