It seems like wackjobs seem to gravitate towards teaparties. From what I have seen - documentaries and accounts of 1st hand experiences - there are many people at these things that believe idiotic stories about our country and president.
They are indoctrinated with lies and then released into public. It's a health hazard.

The term "tea-bagger" refers to an obscene action. It's the "Tea Party" movement, not "tea-bagger".

The same whackjobs flock to any sort of public display of protest. See war protest.

Justify your stance all you want, but there is no denying the idiots on either side of the spectrum.

*I* have an issue that they still believe that Obama isn't from the US.
Is he? There is still a lawsuit pending, if I recall correctly, that questions his birth status. He has yet to present his birth cert. I don't know that I believe he isn't...but just to point out that it's not resolved.

*I* have an issue that they still believe that he's not Christian.

And as for him being Christian? I know he went to a pseudo-Christian racist church for 20 years...but why does he focus so much on islamic issues? Last year he put out a 5 minute video on the WH website plugging Ramadan, but ignored the National Day of prayer a couple weeks later. Just saying...he might be Christian but he sure doesn't act like it.

Who? Mao? His communications director spoke admiringly of him. His "green jobs czar" called himself a communist.

THAT'S what I hold against them amongst other things.
So.....you don't like the fact that people say what you consider mean things about him? Did you watch olbermann when he went on his anti-bush tirades?

Thank you for admitting that that is your opinion, and not necessarily fact.

I'm not into the TeaParty thing at all, but to say that "wackjobs seem to gravitate toward teaparties" is one-sided and only half true. I at first wondered if Obama was a US Citizen, but am satisfied that he is. I also don't believe him to be a Muslim, though I do find his "Christian" church affiliation (with the angry racist Reverend Wright) to be a little troubling. Even so, angry wackjobs are always drawn to some sort of angry expression - be it conservative or liberal.

I do believe, though, that our federal government danged well better start listening to Americans - and our current Administration & Congress need to check a least part of their audacious arrogance at the door, and start working for America.

If that doesn't happen (and I don't believe it will), President Obama will be facing a Republican-controlled Congress in 6 months, and he will end up being a one-term President - possibly thought of as the worst President in American history.

THAT'S what I hold against them amongst other things.

EVERY news outlet lies. MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News.
That's why I only believe ONE news source.... The Daily Show.
Beat me to it.

And yet, they referred to themselves as "tea-baggers" until the morons realized what they had done.

So yeah, they're still "tea-baggers" to me. Maybe next time they'll think twice before they assign a label to themselves.

I hadn't heard anyone call them that until Olbermann and Maddow did it. I'd always heard "Tea Partier".
