Trying to refute people like you is like trying to refute the beliefs of scientologists. Even if I successfully did it with scientific facts, you'd still believe Xenu was the evil galactic dictator who brought billions of people from overpopulated planets to Earth in DC-8 spacecraft and dumped them into the Hawaiian volcanos, after which they were forced to watch a 3-D movie for 36 days, then subsequently roaming the Earth until they clustered in human bodies. You'd just deny it, or pretend I never said anything.

I stand corrected. Personally, I wouldn't use the term. The first one I understand as a "get them before they get you" thing....and the term could almost be appropriate (albeit profane), while the 2nd looks like an elderly woman who probably just doesn't know what the term is.

That's what I'm saying. These people went out there and labeled themselves with a term despite not having a clue what it meant. I mean hell, the term "tea-bagging" has been around since my parent's day at least, so that just shows how out of touch with reality these people are.

That's just another in a long line of their stupid moments. I get that they're passionate about their cause but they also have their own agenda and generally speaking, are just clueless people. They're about the last ones I'd go to for input on running the country.

I don't get that. I know people that have gone to these rallies. I know for them it's a case of just being sick of the spending. The ones I know are smart, intelligent folk. yes, there are idiots on both sides...but frankly, the ones that I'm seeing more of are the hopey-changers that thought obama would pay for their mortgage, their gas in their cars, and they'd get free healthcare for life (with no increased taxes).
