Why Are There a Lot if Puerto Ricans in Orlando? (Miami: high school, best)

In the early 90's and 00' Disney used to go to PR every year and hire hundreds, it was such a big deal that they even had TV ads when disney was in PR. They would go to different universities and offering jobs to recent grads. Then people just follow their brothers, cousins, friends, etc

I know. It seems like most of the PR here are from New York. They are good-looking people so I don't mind the influx.

There are more Puerto Ricans off the island than on the island though.

I can see where you're coming from if you lived in Miami or Southeast Florida, and here it's kind of like that. But that big of a generalization is not true at all.

I have found in my own experience that it is 100% true. All you gotta do is take a trip to the far south and you'll see what I mean.

Even on a friendship level people usually don't racially mix in this town because its "for the best not to associate with those people" when I go out I usually only see white people with white people, Latinos with Latinos, blacks with blacks and so on

The paradox is that I see very few if any black men dating black women, they're always with a white or latina woman
