There's some nice areas in this area, DavieJ89. Biggest complaint besides some of the morons and how they act towards others, is the traffic in this area, and also the foreclosure problems. Cosmetically (besides many of the foreclosures), it's pretty decent.

Foreclosures will get better in time, and there are many projects under way and planned that will help relieve traffic in the area. And I personally have no issues with the people here. I've only had one issue with a guy who hit my front bumper when he ran a red light, but that was at the Oviedo market place. luckily there was no visible damage.

Default From New England to Jacksonville or Orlando

Hello,
My family is thinking of moving to either the Jacksonville area or the Orlando area.
My boys are 2 years and 8 months old and 4 years old. We are looking for an apartment community that is child friendly, alot of children around 3-10 years old.
Of course, safety is very important and a complex that is relatively new and near god schools.

Can anyone make suggestions?
Jack, Wendy, Joe, and Jeff

Post this on the actual Orlando forum and you will get responses. This is an Orlando picture thread, meant for posting and discussing pictures of Metro Orlando.

Thanks for the Arena pic GLS2010. I can't wait until this opens! I am determind to be at the opening night, no matter what the tickets cost! Everytime I drive past it it seems like progress has been made. I hope the new arena is as great as I have been reading about and that it has a positive impact on Orlando!

The downside to the arena IMO is that Buddy Dyer was just so stubborn to have the arena built that he spent $500 mil the city of Orlando doesn't have. And I read that Orange County is NOT going to bail them out

Either way though its still good to see this arena has come along so quickly

I think it was a good investment, it will eventually pay for itself.
