I was racking my brain yesterday on the topic of rocks and had some ideas...but that was before 2 feet of snow fell. I'd have to dig a bit for rocks

Well .... considering we have a tie, we need to compromise so ....... how about rocks and water?
I'm waiting for MAK802 for his/her opinion on this. Rocks and water - well you can go places with this theme. For those of you homebound, how about your fish tank?

Any thoughts?

Rocks and water are fine with me. I live 2 miles from the ocean and we have some great things to fit this theme here in La Jolla. I just don't think it's fair to the rest of the people that don't live anywhere near water or have rocks covered snow as the pp suggested. I thought the theme had to correspond to the month (like Love in Feb made a lot of sense) so that's why I suggested the spring theme. I guess I'm not understanding how rocks/March fit together?

No, the Theme's are not in compliance with the current month. The Feb Love theme worked out wonderful as for the Valentine-ish. This was her choice. Since we already have one winner's choice, we need to compromise and work around this subject. Rocks and water = beach, streams, lakes, waterfalls, ponds, etc.

We can still do the green holidays on a separated assignment.
That reminds me to go hunt for ShepsMom.

When the sun comes out, get the hose out to water down a small perimeter of snow and set down a few rocks in a puddle. J/K
