I kinda ave the same problem, just shot this looking out mt front door....
Yikes! That is very similar to what I have. I trudge to the back forest through thigh-high snow to make certain the wee birds had seed in their feeders. What I didn't realize - I was breaking a trail for the Labs.
I have offered to share this snow with family in Wyoming...would hate to be thought on as selfish No takers.

Also keep in mind, there is more than ONE definition of ROCKS. Check your dictionary. You might get inspired with some of the other meanings of "Rocks".

I like your thinking liond. Be Creative, think outside the box! Who cares if your world is covered in snow! Get out, get moving. That is part of our reason for having these fun contests. To get us old curmudgeons off the computer and out into the world!
We already KNOW anyone from Alaska is in rock/water heaven. So we have to give them a run for their money.

Am I missing something? I thought you're supposed to take each month's theme pictures during that month, and not post pics you got from vacation last year. I have tons of rock/water pics on my Flickr account, but I thought that wasn't allowed. The first entry is of a pic from last year, and I'm not so sure the 2nd is from March either, unless the poster had time to go to Antigua in the last 3 days.

Yes. It's true that all the theme contests have to have pictures entered from the month of the theme, and it has to be your own work. In this case, all pictures submitted have to be from March 2009. World travellers aren't exempt though.

So, I can post pictures I took in Aruba/Europe last year? Am I understanding this correctly?
