If I was kicking off from the other team's 35, it would be an on-side kick. What is there to loose?
Because if the patriots didnt get the ball the ravens would of had the ball 10 yards closer which could have made the difference since the last hail mary was 2 yards short with the 10 extra yards who knows cudda went in
The Pats keep it rolling this weekend with the Steelers. The LB core of the Pats better shore up that inside, or Parker is going to have a field day on them. I know those guys will get it together, but their age is starting to show. Thats all good, for the Pats will use the 3rd or 4th pick in the draft and go after a LB. Thanks Forty Niners!!! The score this Sunday........Pats 31 Pitt 17 that sounds about right.
no way patsfan will be a lot closer than that and im not sure that the pats wont lose. the steelers wont self destruct like last weeks team so watch out pats that season may be in jepordy
Also lost to the Broncos who are 5-7 and can't even beat Oakland-sheesh! Pittsburgh will give them a hell of a game, though. But it's at home, and if they analyze their mistakes and take care of their business they will be 13-0. Make my pick Patriots 26, Steelers 17.
I didn't want the Pats to win, but that last kickoff baffled me.
They're kicking off from the Ravens' 35, and they just boot it through the end zone. Touchback, Ravens' ball at the 20.
Why not kick the ball out of bounds instead? Then the ball gets placed 30 yards from the spot of the kick. Instead of the 20, the Ravens get the ball way back at the 5.
In the end, it worked. Barely!
For that matter, why didn't they just do an onside kick? That extra 5 yards might have ended in a game winning touchdown for the Ravens, so I guess they did the right thing.

The reason the ravens were so good against the pats was because of the defensive backfield they have the best in the game Pittsburgs backfield isent near as good im expecting moss to have a breakout game after a few sub performences
the Steelers have beaten only two teams with a winning record this year AND they lost to the JETS !
'nuff said...
The Patriots are dominant once more. And still unbeaten ...GO PATS!
