Jeff! Whazzup? Actually what they are doing is retro week! As both the Bills and the Patriots are/were original AFL charter teams, they wore the uniforms they had back in the day. And regarding the referees, those were the exact uniforms the AFL referees wore as well. seriously!
The Bills uniforms had basically no change with the exception of the buffalo on the helmet.
i am aware of the whole retro thing. But the refs literally blended in so much with the Pats. The Pats should've wore white, while the Bills wear their blue.... that wouldn't have made things complicated.
lol i think we can all agree. the pats are the NFL's most hated team
FAR from it. Dallas gets much more hate. Buffalo fans hate us because we own you. Steelers fans hate us because we've been better than them this decade and they have yet to beat the Pats in the playoffs in this decade.
It is amazing what winning can do for a franchise. Noone I knew talked about hating the Red Sox pre-04, now I hear people slamming on them constantly. I'm sure it is the same with the Pats, winning breeds jealousy which leads to insults and distain. I would still say the Cowboys win the most-hated-team award, but the Pats aren't far behind. Although you wouldn't believe it based on this board, plenty of people crap on the Steelers too.
The Pats teams though are far more likable to me than the Cowboys teams of the 90s. I could never stand Emmit Smith, played well past his prime for personal reasons, not to help any team win. You may have the number Emmit, but you will never be sweetness.

Really, so you think Randy Moss came to NE to win one for the TEAM? I'd take an Emmit Smith over Randy Moss or T.O. any day! The Pats are hated because of all the antics involved with multiple cheating allegations and a lot of the "dumb luck" I've seen in some of their wins. I won't deny they are a very good football team, but when you have to listen to broadcasters praising Brady like a God, and their fans being the biggest sore losers in the league go on and on, it gets old. That's why they're hated. Dallas and their fans were the same way. They'd get a lot of questionable calls that went in their favor and their fans along with the network analysts were annoying as hell.

Oh, trust me...there is PLENTY of hatred on this board for the Steelers!
