I always trip out when I see a nice lookin girl driving a manly truck. I just don't like it!! I love seeing a little hottie or an older lady too in a little cabrio or girly car like that. I just can't believe it when I see a nice looking lady in a jacked up 4x4 truck or even worse work truck! Am I ol' fashioned , or others of you agreeing with me?
Eh, We like them. We drive what we want to drive. I like to haul trees, plants, mulch, furniture, and home improvement items. They won't fit in a little car.
I don't drive a vehicle to please anyone but myself.

Since you asked I think you are being old fashioned.
We live in a rural area and have a farm with 8 horses that I haul to shows and events. We haul our livestock, hay and the tractor amongst other things. When I'm not driving my big truck, I'm in my Jeep, the 4 wheel drive is mandatory for our area in bad weather. Sorry this bothers you. If it helps I sold my Mercedes E500 2 months ago, it was nice and girly but not driven enough to justify keeping it.
Just to be snarky--most girls aren't old enough to drive, let alone drive a truck. You're talking about women. It probably steams you when they wear pants, too.
For the same reasons men do: 1) they need to haul things and cant afford a different vehicle for each day of the week 2) they like to feel in control (aka Penis Envy as the feminists used to call it)
Because a truck is a good choice for their lifestyle? I drive a truck when I need to haul feed, hay, fence posts, cattle panels, tack, horses, cattle, appliances for the rent house or the ranch house, furniture, real estate signs, the list goes on and on. Pretty much the same list that every other woman (not girl) that I know who drives a truck has.
Since my truck is a Dodge Ram three quarter ton Cummins turbo diesel with an extended cab and a long bed, it does pretty much anything I need to do, and gets 22 miles to the gallon loaded or with just me to haul around.
Oh, and for those fellows who think we envy them their tools, it's the ones in the tool box we really envy. I figured out a long time ago, when what women wore was more restricted, that it wasn't penises but pockets that we envied. And it wasn't feminists who called it penis envy, it was Freud, a man, who famously could not figure out what women wanted and knew it.
Can't imagine why you'd "trip out" (clearly that phrase means something different to you than it did when we were using it in the 60's) over something like that. What's it to you?
"Old fashioned," is not what I would call your attitude toward women driving trucks.
