Thanks for confirming the higher mortgage rate. Property taxes here are 4 x higher for non-owner occupied homes too. So hopefully it is just a flip.
Flip would be the best situation. Increased home values and pride of homeownership that you rarely see tenants exhibit for other's homes. (There are tenants that are meticulous, but they are rare).
