So this is our first winter here and it's been a doozy. This week the weather is still unsettled and cloudy. Supposed to clear out this weekend. Will it stay that way???

I've been told this winter has been very unusual. If that's the case the snow in the valley is no big deal. It has been cloudier than expected. What's normal? I'm glad we didn't move to Oregon!!!

I keep an eye on the weather from the other side of the country and it doesn't seem too bad. Was there more snow than normal? More rain? Just not as sunny as it normally is?

no sun, tons of humidity... oh and in winter time it gets cold and stays cold... one February (2012 i think?) we had the temperature not even get over 20F once!!! It is horrible, other than that, its a great city to visit, if you live there enjoy the absolutely insane taxes on everything, high crime and terrible public services

smegmatite, yup, pretty similar to what it's like here, in Western NY. Big difference is we're on the east side of the lake, not the west like you so we our weather can be even more fun

No duh...

Nobody said anything about climate change.
