Ok could you please to me what the deal is about Chicken French in Rochester? for the life of me I dont get it.
also lobster french, talapia french?
As in you don't like it? Don't worry, not everyone has to like everything. There are a ton of people that do not like Garbage Plates. If you are looking for good Chicken French, then try Mr. Dominicks...I especially like the Chicken Theresa, which is a combination of Chicken French and Shrimp Scampi I believe. There are a lot of places that do not make good chicken french, but want to have it on their menu.
There has only been a couple places that I have found that make a good Chicken French. Someone help me on the name, its on the corner of Buffalo RD and Pixley rd. (not the old Mexican place) The other place was actually for a reception at the Holiday Inn at the airport, I thought thiers was good too.
Its a taste thing, I prefer a good steak, medium rare, yum.
That is so funny! I LOVE ,LOVE Chicken French and didn't realize that it was so centralized to Rochester?
I can't find it anywhere very often where we live and when we come home I usually try to have some from Proietti's in Webster! it is FANTASTIC!!!
There was also a place in Charlotte many years ago that made really great Chicken French and artichokes French!
Location: Was in Western New York but now in Hilo Hawaii

Aight clarification time. Its not the taste! Its like the first responder said theres alot of places (like most places) that have it on the menu. I have talked to a upscale restaunteur that tried to pull it from his menu and lost to much buisness so he had to put it back on. Good bad or indifferent
I just want to know why ? and why french otherthings?
Chicken and Artichoke are the only two things I am aware of.... my two fav places are Shamrock Jacks and Proietti's..... You have to have the RIGHT amount of sauce for me... don't skimp... you skimp and I am offended.... lol
I came from long island just over 6 months ago and was born in NYC and lived there for a long time. Chicken French is a variation of Chicken Francaise without the fancy same.
Yes you are correct, except not many places make it...
