We can win if we'd just start realizing that fact and using our power instead of cowering in corners until we can slink off to another locale.

or if your a certain race. I'm not talking, for example asian vs white; there are even occurrences of mein vs viet. Many laos and mein people i've worked with talk about hate for the Vietnamese people. This kind of ridiculous hate is what i don't understand about Sacramento. My Phillipino roommate hated Japanese because of what they did in WW2.... Bunch of crazies in south sac...

Crime levels vs the current hiring freeze at sacramento PD doesn't help either.

chitowner: Actually crime rates are fairly similar. Although Chicago is a lot bigger, so the bad areas of Chicago are probably worse than the bad areas here, and the safe areas of Chicago are probably safer than the safe areas here.

Your logic is typical apples-to-oranges comparison. There's nothing similar about a group who deals in drugs and kills people with a group of people hired by taxpayers to enforce laws. To suggest these two groups have a common goal is not worthy of discussion.

As long as there are poorly educated people growing up with violence and espousing as virtuous thug life and behavior and having babies the cycle will continue. The information is out there to grasp to change behavior. Most people chose not follow the information available to them.

I gang bang everyday but not for dope money or respect or protection!. I bang for LOVE!, ...I bang Christ and the rightousness of my Heavenly father!. so when I see a young thug or gang member(police, army off.,crip, blood, northe, southerner, skinhead or who ever)I try to bring them into God's gang!.just like Marvin Gaye said "the whole world is a ghetto"..........Its just your state of mind!

I don't think he was talking about a common goal. He was trying to say that they are groups of people that's all. Also just because it's locally or federally funded or supported doesn't make it a "good" thing. (Not speaking of certain organizations) Remember our government has a very thin line from being a democratic republic to a socialist government. examples are the Jim Crow laws, the patriot act, and some plan to get government funded and edited news-press. Though I forgot the exact name of it.

To end it I think it's important for each person to find their independent identity separate from other people and mass media. It's been clear that once one group gets too powerful they seem to grow corrupt which is why we have the constitution to protect us. Don't trade freedom for security.
