Hello! We currently live in WA. It's me, my husband and 2 adult children in one apartment (one disabled). My father-in-law & sister-in-law live in an apartment a few doors down (she's disabled).

The thing is she needs to get back to Salt Lake City ASAP & permanently because there's only one neurosurgeon in the whole West that can help her. He did a couple of her brain surgeries a couple years ago, by they stayed with my brother-in-law in South Jordan because it was temporary at that time. It's becoming apparent she has to go back for another surgery and pretty quickly.

We are hoping to join households and get a house together so my husband and I can take care of his dad and sister. We each pay $1800+ for our apartments, but I'd like to get the rent down to $3000 collectively.

Is there a local property management company you can all recommend to us that will secure a lease before we arrive? I'm hoping to do this without needing an Airbnb. I'm also hoping to stay and ultimately buy a home.

Thank you!

What is your combined family income?
With 1 elderly and 2 disabled out of 6 people you may qualify for an assistance in multi family housing?
Wouldn’t hurt to try?

Look into that: hurry up, they close the application period soon.
According to new payment standards 5 bedroom place is $2919

The above looks like the only one with 5 bedrooms? Or if both families qualify - you could have 2 apartments not far from each other in the same location?

Hey mods thanks for the note but my account isn't allowed to reply to DMs. Just so others know I'm not ignoring you, I just can't respond.
