[quote=Insomniac;1760808] I mean how long has Greg Simmons been with KSAT 12? One day should have been enough, the guys a total joke and tool. He spends more time getting wasted at nightclubs and hitting on 20 year olds and not enough time working on being a good sports journalist.[quote]

OMFG, I laughed out loud when I read this - SO TRUE! He's always at ReBar, drunk as hell, chatting up sorority girls, I think he lives behind the place, as we've seen him stumbling down the (residential) street at closing time on several occasions (which is fine, I'd hate to see him behind the wheel - yikes). I've always wondered how he keeps this up at his age? I mean, practically every night, drunk, all that smoke in the air, etc., that would kill me - and he's got at least 15 years on me...The man is unstoppable!

I think she was hosting Great Day Houston on Tuesday. I was wondering what happened to Whitney Casey, the regular host. Then I went back to the Today Show. I believe that the fourth hour is not shown "live" on WOAI-TV? The last time I visited, the third hour was not shown.

I'm not a big David Cruz fan but WOAI had so many damn promos of a reporter past his prime.

I watch KENS news but I guess it is mostly out of habit. I don't have a problem with any of their crew except that dweeb weather guy Gerrad (sp?). I think they have the best looking news ladies in town.

Best looking I've seen in a long time is a new (to me) woman doing the sports on the local FOX station @ 9:00 PM. She may not be new, but I first saw her a couple weeks ago and she is VERY easy on the eyes..

I watch WOAI and for the most part like it. They do get a little tabloid, but they are good reporters and their set looks the most professional. I like the High School football reports and how they visit a different school each week, but the "High School Cribs" is kindof funny. Delaine Matthew just keeps saying "Cool!" We'll watch FOX on nights we want to get to bed early, but after the first batch of news and weather it just goes downhill. Chris Marou on KENS drives me nuts, he's been there a 100 years! He totally runs the joint. KSAT is tolerable, just small-town feel to the newscast.

I don't like the morning shows that just have the newscasters in hoochie mama shirts and talk about silly frivolous things like makeovers and self help books. SA Living is ok because they do some parenting stuff. I'll watch Today Show, but not the local morning shows for the most part.

But we usually have it on Nick Jr or PBS in the mornings here! I have a toddler

I think the KSAT set looks like a spaceship from a bad B-movie.

We watch WOAI. They can overhype the news sometimes but I think all the stations do it. One of the things I hate the most is when they tease you with the weather. "When we return, we'll let you know if rain is in the forecast for the weekend." Then when they do give the weather it's gonna be a nice weekend. Why do they do that!!!

Another things is Jennifer and some of the newscasts, don't talk about weather around the state. I guess people living in San Antonio don't travel. I'm sorry but I used to live in the valley and if I was planning a trip for the weekend going to Houston or S.A., I could plan accordingly by the local news. Not here. I have to go to the Weather Channel or online.

But I enjoy looking at Jennifer giving the weather instead of the men. And yes my wife and I also noticed that there is a little more of her lately. We thought it was just us. Don't get me wrong I like it. But she needs to wear more of those dresses or blouses that show some cleavage.

KENS5 also gives a good newscast. KSAT is kind of boring.
