That sounds a lot like Clearwire, which we have as an option in the northwest. Are they the same?

Looks like it. I checked coverage for my area on Clearwire.com and it redirected me to the Clear.com site.

Hopefully they expand a little further towards Boerne, I'd love a service like this.

on the lower right of the clear.com screen, it says clearwire. I thought the rollout was next year.. oh well I don't mind the competition.

It is surprising their introductory offer is $30. I couldn't find their standard rate.

Looks like the andriod / google voice / voip is going to be packaged perfectly for the wi-max service. Cellphone companies are becoming isp's very quickly here.
