Just visited your beautiful city for spring break. Never had heard of a Seattle Dawg.very tasty! We stayed at the Garden Inn on Boren Street. I can honestly say we never had a bad meal.. Well maybe one.. Ivar. Ended up giving it to the seagulls.
But your tap water!!!!!!!!! Holy mother of glacial waters. I have never drank such pristine clear crisp water before.
That's all we drank when we went out to eat.
What's your secret?????

For the most part, the big secret is we didn't allow the watersheds of our drinking water to be developed into suburbia.

It's better in the suburbs in terms of pricing/portions. Well, if you enjoy Asian food at least.

I just got back from Seattle, and had a wonderful Indian meal at Nirmal: https://www.nirmalseattle.com/

And I'm from Silicon Valley, so I'm rather snooty about my Indian cuisine; in fact the last time I was in Seattle (just two weeks prior), my friend and I had an awful meal at some place in Ballard. So I still wanted to scratch that itch, and we found this other place just by chance. She and her boyfriend demolished a $60 crab curry + Saoji Chicken Rassa, while I grubbed on Paneer Makhan Masala and a potato appetizer called Vada Pav. I asked about the unusual menu, since it wasn't like anything I've seen in CA, and they said the chef lived and traveled all over India - so he picked up ideas from different regions. Very cool!
