Just visited your beautiful city for spring break. Never had heard of a Seattle Dawg.very tasty! We stayed at the Garden Inn on Boren Street. I can honestly say we never had a bad meal.. Well maybe one.. Ivar. Ended up giving it to the seagulls.

I just got back from Seattle, and had a wonderful Indian meal at Nirmal:

And I'm from Silicon Valley, so I'm rather snooty about my Indian cuisine; in fact the last time I was in Seattle (just two weeks prior), my friend and I had an
awful meal at some place in Ballard. So I still wanted to scratch that itch, and we found this other place just by chance. She and her boyfriend demolished a $60 crab curry + Saoji Chicken Rassa, while I grubbed on Paneer Makhan Masala and a potato appetizer called Vada Pav. I asked about the unusual menu, since it wasn't like anything I've seen in CA, and they said the chef lived and traveled all over India - so he picked up ideas from different regions. Very cool!
