Default Concerts I've Been To

Off topic, but someone might be interested in seeing if they had been to any of the same concerts by touring bands as me.
My exhaustive list at the Music & More section of the MTHead message board, originally created by KMTT FM:

I fell (somersaulted) all the way down the narrow, steep staircase to the restrooms in about 1978. On my 2nd step down, the heel of my right shoe, caught in the cuff of my left bell-bottom pant leg ... and down I tumbled. Fortunately, I only bruised my left kidney - no broken bones. Whew!

Does anyone know who ran the Bombay Bicycle Shop or where the name came from? There was always a line to get in. The Britain-based band Bombay Bicycle Club does not appear to be related.

There was also East Lake East, a popular bar on East Lake.

Moved from Fox Island to U District & North End from 1978-1984. Remember disco days at Vancouver's, Sunday's, Rusty Pelican, Latitude 47, Pier 70, Shilshole (idk), Windjammer, Horatio's, McCormicks...Beth's Cafe omelets after hours. Best pizza at a Lake Union tavern (idk). Remember single in Seattle as such an exciting fun club/music/bar/ scene in 1978-1988.

The bar referenced in earlier posts as the tavern on Eastlake was called Eastlake East, and at the end of the 1970's was one of the largest women's bars on the west coast. The tavern next door was called the Off Ramp.

Also, I don't remember anyone mentioning the largest men's bar in Seattle during the late 70's and early 80's and that was Neighbours on Capitol Hill.

Both these bars were instrumental in providing a safe place for the gay community to go and be themselves during that time. They were especially popular when disco was in. New York had Studio 54, we had Eastlake East and Neighbours.

I think the BBClub was open into the early 80s because I'm pretty sure I went there with people I met in '81 and '82. I think this club might haver been the first in seattle to feature reggae. The crowd LOVED IT - I remember that!
The Bombay Bicycle Shop also had African marimba bands. I heard the management complained, that the crowd that came for that music never ordered alcohol, so the house instituted a cover charge for those nights.
