BTW California doesn't steal jack cheese wrt Colorado river water. The state abides by a court ruling detailing who gets how much.

Statements like this reinforce the public's perception that survivalists and preppers are frightened, anti-social and hostile. Not to mention your assumptions are not supported by facts--its more like a fantasy.

Agreed. Everyone has different political views and its understandable that people disagree, but I don't understand the utter hatred expressed in this person's post either.

it is not vile, it is only vile to those in their concrete jungles that like to to tell rural people how they should be living.

guess what, all that water comes from the rural part of the USA, and very little comes from any cities.

Yeah. Meanwhile California is producing alfa-alfa hay that is being exported to China, throwing millions and millions of gallons of precious water to feed Chinese cattle.

It is not about rural vs city, it is about right vs wrong

It is a vile sentiment, friend. Here is the vile part of the post.

...we're likely to see the poor all over the state as well as the urban masses contribute far more to the death toll than the prosperous and rural. Leftist voters are primarily urban or poor. Let's hope for another year of it...

The hope that masses of people will die, especially from thirst, is nothing a sane or honorable person would truly wish for. To actively wish for such a catastrophe is precisely the evil and twisted mentality that will prove to be the undoing of whoever espouses it. Karma, reaping what you sow, whatever you want to call it, what goes around comes around, and those who wish such pain and destruction on others will someday meet their own Waterloo. Do I like that many Americans follow a leftist philosophy? Not at all. Do I feel comfortable with neighbors or family who refuse to prepare for even the simplest of emergencies? Nope. But I do not live on a remote island, nor can I, and I refuse to become filled with hate for those who disagree with me.

I choose to be prepared to take care of my family's needs, and to help those around me who are willing to cooperate if it becomes necessary. I am prepared to viciously defend what my family needs from any who would steal or destroy it, and to offer a hand to those in true need who are not a threat to me. I cannot understand those who would feel anything but sadness for people who die in a catastrophe, any more than I can understand those who would kill another who was no threat to them. There is something wrong with such a person, and the further I can stay from them, the better. We have to find a better way to turn the direction of America than killing off everyone who disagrees with us by cutting off their water. In America, the one most of us say we want back, every human has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I know that is all jacked up these days, but we can't get back to it by infringing on those rights when we think it convenient.

It is true that sometimes nature or other events kill large numbers of any given species, homo sapiens included. It is also true that the unprepared individuals of a species are usually the most affected by an event. That is not a license to hope for such a catastrophe, or to take pleasure in the destruction.

Have you ever considered that the person who wrote that vile statement is deranged and has lost sense of reality and what is normal and what is not? It is not the first time that person has expressed such extreme views. However, it is America and it is their right to hate and say whatever they want. All we cn do is feel sorry for them

But I bet I have more money than you do.

Remove the social detritus at the bottom and good people will live in a far better world.

The government has to allow them to express their hate speech within certain limits. Ordinary citizens do not.

Your wealth doesn't make you better than anybody else. Evil is as evil does.
