no, your bugout bag can't "feed you for a month". It takes at least 2 lbs of calorie-dense food (ie, 1000 calories per lb) per day to keep an adult male from losing weight, even if all he does is lie around, without stresses. If it's shtf, double that, and if it's cold, add another 1000 calories per day. So for your BOB to do what you claim, it would have to have 90+ lbs of food in it, in addition to the 40 lbs or so of other gear, water, etc that you'd need.

Now you CAN survive the month, on just a (very heavy) bag of gear and food, but you'll do so by using up 20 lbs (or maybe 40 lbs) of your body weight.

if you do not know the answer then you will probably never know.

in the case of looters when TSHTF, after taking their lives, then you put away their stuff and give it to charity that will come after. that way it is being put to good use.

actually no, I tend to think of most as in the Constitutional way.

most means 3/4s. 75%+.

I laughed at this. I mean I really laughed hard.

Tallow and oils and lards run in the 4000Kcals per pound.
walnuts/ pecans. macadamia nuts, pine nuts ect ect are all around 3000kcals per pound
The various peanut/almond/walnut butters run 2600Kcals a pound.
Cooked bacon runs 2500Kcals per pound
Chocolate runs approx 2672kcals per pound
Dried fruits run approx. 1537 Kcals per pound

add these up and you average approx. 2700 Kcals per pound not modified to save weight.
So based on sheer survival Kcals, 1000 a day per person, one pound of food = 2 and half days (rounded down from 2.7 to 2.5) so 30 days / 2.5 days = 12 pounds.

Now if you cannot carry 12 pounds, then you will probably not survive anyway.
Also, please note, none of these foods have been modified in anyway to weigh less IE frieze dried or dehydrated (except the dried fruits obviously).

Datrex food bars weigh about 1.5 pounds at 3600 Kcals which is 2400 Kcal a pound
There are lot of different food bars like this as well as various types of dehydrated pre-packaged foods.

democrats is half, I prefer the part just like the Constitutional convention, 75% or better of the states have to ratify an amendment, should be the same way.
