Barefoot for me too in Sabots, Snowbirds and Lido 14s. But for ocean racing Columbia 40s, top-siders were helpful.

Wish they would add a Margaritaville, that place would do a killing.

Or even a Rainforest Cafe

Locally themed and owned restaurants are the way to go.

Both margaritavile and rainforest are overpriced tourist traps. Same with Hardrocks

There's a reason they're popular, though...

That said, both would be better down in Branson.

Now Dave and Busters, THAT would be a gold mine in Springfield.

D and B would be good. Very reasonable pricing. Essentially a Chuckee Chesse for adults

The more national chain restaurants you can attract to the Springfield-Branson metro area, the more diverse your area will be, at least in terms of dining experiences.

This diversity will make the Springfield-Branson area look like other big cities, homogenizing the area and making it more attractive to other city dwellers looking to move to a lower tax state.

This movement will lead to a need for further development and that means more jobs.

Who could oppose this?

Thank you.

That said, you can always have "Locally owned/ran" national chains, people!

Trader Joes is OK, but Whole Foods Market is much, much better. It has more food, options and I've found them to be less expensive. Either would be good but WFM is my choice.

Whole foods market is like a organic restaurant, grocery store and buffet but the size of a walmart superstore. lol IT IS AWESOME.

...and whole foods is much more expensive. They also have had many issues that there "organic foods' were actually organic.

Trader Joes is not a health food store, but they do sell a larger variety of healthier food at better prices than the regular supermarkets.

Well, I completely disagree about the cost issue and the variety issue, but I'm not here to start a fight over which store is better, lol, we both have better things to do with our day.

I wish we could have both honestly, and the "organic" issue is rampant industry wide, not just at whole foods or trader joes.
