Someone said their Chiropractor does not profit from Standard Process supplements. When I first "googled" my Chiropractor, what came up was:"how to become a millionaire selling our products"! After I brought it to his attention, he changed his page.
I am very concerned about the animal parts in all of these supplements, is anyone else?
Chiropractors are in it for the money...
There is no science behind it...
As a certified and registered healtcare professional I would like to say that any product should be used individually for that person. treat the person not the symptom.. I have been associated wit SP for well over 15 years and aprox 30% of the products test out for benefit to an individual.. this is not a review overall but by product usage by people actually using the product. I recommend that you test each product against the person to see if it is effective or not. Chiropractic Association is supported in whole by SP. This is the same as pharma companies and the AMA. Nutritionalist as a general rule do not support SP only Chiros as a whole. They are not a natural healthcare company but rather homeopathic. As a note they are one of the best animal care companies out there but limited in the human health profession. Thank Doc M

And they put the same animal parts in the people supplements as they do the animal food, apparently.
I need help trying to find generics for all of the standard process sups I am on.. these include: Multizyme, immuplex, Symplex F, Prolamine Iodine, Naturally bound minerals, and drenimin. Any good whole food generics out there? I am extremely deficient in B12 and vit D so I am on B12 injections and Vital Nutrients 4 caps a day. I am also on a mack daddy probiotic with several different strains/cultures. I have recently "fired" my nutrionist/chiro due to shady business practices however my recovery from Fibromyalgia pre treatment and now is miraculous... I would like to stay on these except not spend as much on them.. any ideas? Thanks! Rachel
How about - Centrum, for a multi-vitamin.
Nature's bounty for D3 and B12
Tums for Calcium
For all the other stuff, you should be eating well and not relying on pills (even vitamin supplements) to provide you with the nutrition your body needs.
I have been taking this brand for about 6 months now. I feel they are working well for me. I have also done the 21 day cleanse and take their shake periodically since having the cleanse. It seems most alternative health care professionals recommend this brand. (In my experience) I have found them on Amazon and Ebay at better prices than in offices. They tend to sell at full retail, in my experience with 3 different ones. If you find them selling at cost - that is very good! Hope this helps someone.
Try Amazon or Ebay for your supplements. They have a limited variety, but better prices. OR call around to nutritionists or chiropractors who stock SP - as them for a discount if you purchase multiple items. The mark up is 40% when they sell at full retail, ask them for 20% off so it is good for both you and Dr. too. )

Tums for calcium?!!!
Sorry, but that makes no sense.
And tums contain aspartame ... not something that anyone should be ingesting on a regular basis if ever.
"Aspartame contains three very insidious components: methanol, phenylalanine, and aspartic acid. All three of these chemicals have each been shown to either stimulate brain cells to death, severely disrupt hormone balances in the brain or act as a dangerous nerve poison."
In my opinion, the best supplements for efficient absorption and assimilation are whole-food based.
And the worst are synthetic vitamins (like Centrum). You're just pooping away your money ... literally.
