Good points.

One has to consider several options, regardless of tablet type or brand. For example, if the main interest for buying a tablet is to read, then it makes more sense to make that option, "priority number one," and then continue down the line with the second, third, and other options. Sometimes a simple tablet that's designed for reading would make more sense than a do-all tablet.

Well, the main problem android faces is it is written in Java. Java itself is easy to learn, but it's not efficient and laggy by nature. This is why there are efforts to translate android to C.
