Hydro rates go up because of the sky high union wages and benefits as well as all the senseless "green energy" projects. Privatize or not, it will go up.

They did explain: that the private sector might find "efficiencies" - which is rather laughable. Hydro price is regulated and there is little incentive for the company to be efficient. But they keep repeating the BS.
