I'm curious as to whether anyone has seen an update on the missing Iowa girls. It broke my heart that they were missing, and I was hoping they would be found. I never heard anything about them after the initial story. Was there an update?
It's sad to me that people (on a true crime forum especially) have already forgotten this case. It got a fair amount of national media attention back in July/August.
Anyways, Elizabeth and Lyric are two girls missing from Iowa. The latest development is that LE is re-canvassing the neighborhood they went missing from.

Yes, that's the case. I could not remember their names. Thanks for the link. How sad. I am hopeful because the FBI still believes they are alive. I really hope they are. Last year, a 2 year old disappeared about 30 miles from us and was found alive - he had just wandered off. What a great relief when you have a happy ending to the story for once.

EVANSDALE, Iowa (AP) — Friends of the two young Iowa girls who have been missing since July are asking hunters to watch for clues about the missing cousins.
I saw this on the news last night - after this long I had expected they would be found dead. I keep thinking about how little they were and how scared they must have been....beautiful babies.
THIS kind of stuff is why I support the death penalty.....I hope they catch the bastard and kill him twice.
