Wow, I'm planning a honeymoon for early 2014 and I've never even considered US Virgin Islands. I may have to relook at my options there. The pictures here are beautiful!

Josh, consider, think, ponder, do whatever - but a honeymoon on St. John would be absolute heaven! Catching the ferry to STT is a breeze if you want activity. Otherwise, it is very, very quite and peaceful. I will say, though, after living on STX, that I personally wouldn't be in the water in the really early part of the year. Well, maybe as a mainlander I would - but the water got fairly chilly in December and stayed that way until March or April (don't know when your wedding is). We surely saw a lot of vacationers in the water during those months, but not us!

St. John is probably one of my favorite places on earth. Get on the VRBO site and find a cottage or house to rent, up high or on the north side preferably...those were my favorite areas to get away from mosquitoes and no-see-ums. It may cost a little more, but the scenery is absolutely breathtaking and it is a place you won't soon forget.
