The colors have been great this year. About a week past peak here in the NEK, but still so enjoyable. Nice photos MRV!

These pics are from Burke Mountain a couple of years ago.

Okay, it's Friday and no more crabbing about the state of the economy in the state or my lack of a job! Here are some nice photos of my local area for you to view!

Great pictures everyone! I went over to Woodstock on Thursday and took some pictures in the area... unfortunately, the colors seemed a bit weak over there. Not sure why that is. Of course, even subpar fall colors in New England are beautiful, so here are my shots:

Nice pics Verseau...the color looks a tad early in some of those shots...should have come over to the Champlain Valley. The colors are very vibrant over here this year! I'll try and get some of my shots up sometime this week....

World's most multi-colored tree.

Not really Several trees coming together like a chorus line of dancers.

At twilightight, the leaves practically glow in the dark.

Took this one yesterday in Charlotte, VT. The sun was hitting the trees just right!

You are so right! I'm glad you caught it on film. (Or disc. Or whatever.)

We drove from Rutland to Burlington yesterday straight up Route 7, and it was just like being in a movie about fall in Vermont. Utterly breathtaking, especially in Ferrisburgh, Shelburne, and Charlotte. Brandon, Leicester, and Middlebury didn't suck either. Wowza!

The trees up this way are almost bare now. I can't see most of my lawn anymore due to all of the fallen leaves. Time to go out and rake. But YES, great colors in the Champlain Valley these days. Nice pic, vter!
