Hi everybody, I just registered to City-Data yesterday and have been checking out this website for months, especially forums on the D.C. metropolitan area. I just wanted to quickly say that a Thank You in advance for welcoming me aboard, and its quite possible I might be one of the youngest on some of these forums since I just turned 20 back in late-September Now, back to business...if you guys have a vision of what Washington D.C. should look like and have in the near- to far-future what would it look like? You know, in terms of skyline, retail, businesses, culture, public transportation, tourism, population, diversity, public education, housing, cost of living, waterfronts, neighborhood amenities, etc. To be even more simpler, you guys should try to picture this "Alternative" D.C. as your own SimCity LOL Thanks for responding!

Welcome aboard, tcave360. Here is another website that should interest you, It tells a lot about current developments and future projects planned for the city (click here) Greater Greater Washington

Have you been following the Maryland Suburbs forum? The poster named PGTitans lives in the general area near Clinton and is active on that forum daily, giving a lot of information and thoughts about your area.
