Good way to put it. After an arctic blast last winter with single digit highs, a normal 31 F NJ winter day felt warm.

It also depends on the time of year. +70 in October might only last 5 minutes before the temperature starts tanking while +70 in July will likely last many hours.

It definitely depends on the season. Right now, slightly above 10c is warm enough.

Down in the Dallas area where I used to live, t-shirt weather (short-sleeve; no outer layers) for me was 75F+. Here in Pittsburgh where I live now, it's more like 60F+ (provided it's sunny).

It's a cloudy 13°C today. While it's disgustingly warm for late October, I spent some time outside in a T-shirt and shorts and it felt like summer. I wish actual summers had more cool and cloudy days like this.

Huh. 13 C is 55 F which is typical October weather over here. Its not disgustingly warm at all and perfect for a sweatshirt. 30 C (86 F) is disgustingly warm for October.

It's 18C and I wear sweater and light jacket. I can't imagine walking in T-shirt in such weather. I feel every cold blast of wind.

And I'm a cold lover.

You'd have a point if I also lived in New Jersey. In this climate, late October averages lows of 0°C and highs of around 4°C. T-shirt weather should be a distant memory by now and snow a real possibility.

Warmer than average weather is my pet peeve, I hate it, and I don't want to see any T-shirt weather before May. During this year's much warmer than normal spring, summer and fall, I've certainly had enough of it.
